Logging Into M365 (Word, Excel, etc.) on Campus PCs

If you are trying to open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint on a shared computer–a podium workstation, a computer lab workstation, a library PC–you may be prompted to log in. This is normal behavior. Simply click Sign In, then enter your Rivier email address and password. You may also be prompted to authenticate (MFA), so have your mobile device nearby.

If you do not log into M365, you won’t be able to create new or edit existing documents. You will have to close M365 programs (Word, Excel, etc.) and re-open them and then sign in.

If M365 does not let you sign in, there may be an issue with your Rivier account. Please notify us right away by emailing itsupport@rivier.edu.

This change is part of our recent campus upgrade from Windows 7 and Office 2016 to Windows 10 and M365. We hope you enjoy our new desktops!
