New for January 2024: Password Change Required For Risky Sign-Ins

I am being forced to change my password at sign-in. This is unusual. Why is this happening?

Starting January 29, 2024, users who are signing in using an unusual method will be prompted to authenticate (MFA) and you may also be prompted to reset your password. An unusual sign-in method could mean signing in from a different location than you usually sign in from, or signing in on a new device. This protects your account from malicious activity.
