Email Issue: I Have Email Addresses At Multiple Institutions And Can’t Sign In
Some faculty and students who have an email address at another institution, such as another university or workplace, may find it difficult to access Rivier email in their browser. You may become automatically logged into the other institution’s email system. Fortunately, there are several easy workarounds:
Option 1: Use a direct link to Rivier email
You can try using this link, which should take you straight to your Rivier email login:
If you’re prompted to choose an account, select or enter your Rivier email (username@rivier.edu).
Option 2: Use Outlook mail client
We provide the Microsoft 365 Office suite which includes Outlook desktop app. Head here and click ‘Install Office’:Â https://portal.office.com/account/?ref=Harmony
The Outlook app lets you open multiple accounts in the same window.
Option 3: Use an Incognito (InPrivate) Window or Two Separate Browsers
This is a less convenient option, but some users prefer this method. Open one mailbox in your “regular” browser and open an Incognito window for your other mailbox.
