How do I access my Rivier technology resources remotely?
With a little bit of planning, a device and a connection to the Internet, it is possible to learn, study, and work remotely. Read below for details:
Teaching and Learning
- Access to Canvas
- Access to Email
- Access to Regina Library
- Access to Zoom
- If you are a faculty or staff member and need a license, email firstname.lastname@example.org and request the license.
Accessing Data Files on my P: drive or Department Share
- Use the Horizon Client
Additionally, all of us have a Microsoft OneDrive Account. This is accessible from anywhere on the web. A good idea is to start saving your files to OneDrive now. Or, if you know that you regularly need off-campus access to certain existing files, start moving them from the P: drive to OneDrive now.
Accessing CAMS, GP, Time Matrix Remotely (Staff and Faculty)
All Rivier users have a virtual machine or VDI assigned to them. To access this, you must install the Horizon View Client on your remote computer. Click here for directions.
